Rule 1: Bush is Always Wrong
AP:July 15, 2005 wire article states: "Bush blamed Hezbollah's rocket attacks at Israel from its base in southern Lebanon, and the militant group's capture of two Israeli soldiers for triggering the fierce fighting."
AP says this as if there is some alternate opinion as to who or what triggered the current warring in Israel's neighborhood, which no thinking person has proposed. But Bush said it, so there must be another interpretation - a "correct" interpretation - because Bush cannot ever be right.
If Bush said that the Sun lights the Earth, or that night follows day, it would be presented as an opinion, with the clear implication that it was the wrong opinion, merely because Bush was the one saying it. MSM is so obsessed with anti-Americanism and Bush hatred that it has lost all objectivity.
MSM has followed the lead of the supermarket tabloids, whose headlines - "My Baby's Father Is An Alien" "2-Year-Old Weighs 1400 Pounds" - have been chuckled at, then ignored, by all but the most simple-minded among us for decades. The tabloids agenda was simple: Shock and Profit. The MSM agenda is political and they will say anything to promote it, fully expecting their readers to believe the headlines; and sadly, 39.8% of us do.
The truth is that the blame for Israel's eternal strife does ultimately rest in a place some fifty-eight years back. If you throw a goldfish into a shark tank, it is hard to blame either the goldfish or the shark for the inevitable results.
